These sandals, like every other L’Artiste I’ve purchased, are very comfortable right out of the box, no breaking in needed. They’re not quite as bright a red as shown in the photo, but that’s just a variation of the hand painting, which is beautiful. They’re a good fit for a high instep and give very good support.
