These boots are a work of art. My sister put them on the mantle to display them and said they were too beautiful to wear.Comfort. They are comfortable for 10 hours of office wear. I would not wear them for excessive walking.Fit. L’Artiste usually fits true to form. I have a extra room so I can wear a middle weight sock, not a trouser weight sock. If you are not planning on wearing socks, you might go down a 1/2 size. These boots are not the skin tight style. They are woven cloth in the calf and lose - even the part that is leather. The leather is tighter, but still lose. That might bother some.Look. The boots goes with anything. Leggings, jeans, dressy clothes, skirts, dresses. The picture is spot on accurate.Compliments. I am getting compliments from those folks who are not fashion minded.
