Bought this to help contain the damages inflicted by a 2yr old feral boy. We have mostly hardwood but area rugs in the main living areas. Somehow he always manages to miss the hardwood. So far has worked great against spills, blowouts and daycare stomach bugs. Haven’t tried it on any set in stains since it’s been so easy to whip this bad boy out after any unwanted fluids have graced my carpeting. But if you look at my carpets you’d never know the beating they’ve taken over the past 2 yrs. Def cheaper than buying new area rugs!
