update july 19, 2013I would like to recommend a 1stopsalon case for this, less than 10 dollars. it holds this one and also a shorter shears. soft material, compact, just perfect: 2 Shear Case. And Sensei Shear Systems/Via San Francisco is really a best seller.---------------------------------------------------------------------Very sharp, good looking blue, top quality 440C steel, sturdy, well made, superior pinky ergonomics, big enough finger holes, no blemishes, good price, immediate ship direct from the company web site (saved $10), and the double swivel works like magic.i have been cutting my own hair for most of my life. long ago i used german gliders and was happy with it. later i got a $250 japanese shears that i didn't like as much because it pulled. i got another glider. i lost my last pair and had to find a new one. i was wary of this because the price was so low, but i am happy with the product completely.i am able to cut the hair on the back of my head so much better. it used to dig into my thumb when i turned the shears while cutting the back. there is a little getting used to, because it feels a little clutsy at first; trying to maintain proper directional pressure between the blades, but i am getting better.now all i need is a case.highly recommended.
