Only ok on flat surfaces. Even a very thin rug throws it off and it jams in one location.I observed its running way and was surprised by its intelligence. Wherever it starts, it looks for the edge on the room by itself and won't stucked by furniture legs. It also can go back to the charger but itself when nearly run out of power. Remote control has features to give it more control. It does a great job for cleaning the floor. Very happy purchase!I received this sweeping robot today. I have tried it. it's good. I saved a lot of time for sweeping the floor when I go home...Clearly a "starter" robot vacuum, the Inse version of this product idea may work for you, so long as you manage expectations. The Inse is in many ways like its competitors: better than what skeptics say, but not as good as its wild proponents. In summary, it's pretty good for mostly open areas and mostly even surfaces, though it may be able to navigate some common obstacles.PRO-Inexpensive-Pretty good at returning 'Home" to its docking / charge station-Handles animal fur, dust bunnies, garden dirt pretty well-Won't suction some larger (but not big -- you wouldn't expect that from this little guy) items, such as larger leaves or small pieces of dry wall-As with most on the market in this segment, the low profile may vacuum in areas where it's hard to get a conventional vacuum (e.g., under a sofa or entertainment system furniture)-Recovers well from getting stuck under the four legs of a chair-Unclear, but it looks like the main battery pack is user-replaceable. At least the manual illustrates how to get to it.CON-See photos. Doesn't handle some uneven surfaces well-Doesn't always reason well about remaining battery level vs. effort to return to charge station-Unclear how updates are to be managedGENERAL-Almost a con: The suction claims ("powerful") are exaggerated.-If you haven't watched one of these in operation before, it make take some getting used to. Machine Learning of the sort on display here is "dumb," not ruled-based, and you can't use Alexa or Google Home to make it smarter.-The Inse is representative of the class of software available, but you would expect it to get better. See CON on this topic.-There should be a separate SKU for main unit replacement batteries.PHOTOS-Shows refuse collection after an hour of use-Shows an uneven surface less than the specified toleration of 0.6" that caused a stall
