I have tried so many different kinds and brands of stabilizers in all the years I have been embroidering, and this one is the best stabilizers I have ever used. I use it to float all my projects. Floating is a game changer. I remove the paper from the sticky back, hoop the stabilizer by pressing it directly on the back of the inside hoop making sure it is stretched tight and even. Then I finish hooping with the outside hoop. I then center my project, pressing and smoothing the fabric to the stabilizer. I also add a basting box to my design that stitches first before the embroidery. The embroidery turns out flawless with no puckers regardless of the fabric weight, stretch ability, or density of the design. Many of the prior reviews indicate an issue with sticky residue to the fabric. First, peel and tear off the excess stabilizer immediately after embroidering. Do not let it stay adhered to the fabric. For most thicker or heavier fabrics, it usually all comes off. If any residue of the backing remains, it can be removed easily with rubbing alcohol. I use a nylon dish sponge and dip it in the rubbing alcohol then dab it on the residue, and rub it off with the sponge. This process will leave a very clean back to the embroidery.
