Works perfect for my 110 pound golden retriever Labrador getting in and out of my raised up Dodge 250 4dr truck The two arms of it rest on the inside back floorboard of my truck. I extended it all the way out and pushed it towards the back of the front seat so they it will line up straight with the floorboard. Its very light weight and sturdy and pretty much just opens up by itself whenever you hold it so there’s no issues setting it up whatsoever. It has a short safety strap at the top to hold it in place whenever the dogs go up and down it. I just held it in place the first few times I used it because the strap is too short to reach anything inside the back floorboard to attach it to. I’m going to attach a strap to the back bracket of my back seat and attach it to it and then I won’t need to hold it in place. It’s much nicer than what I was expecting. The item I purchased was the one with 6 steps.
