Update:I have had this wonderful, durable Snoozer for over a year. Since that time, I adopted a rescue puppy. So, my Snoozer has undergone a lot of use. It has remained in NEAR PERFECT condition. It has never torn. It stays put on my carpet. It has retained its shape and firmness. It remains easy to clean. I use a wet microfiber cloth to remove smudges and dirt. i know other people state that the Snoozer's materials tear easily. For the last three months, my puppy has tried to chew the Snoozer's corners.... but the Snoozer's fabric is tough. Its corners look as good as new - no tears. i LOVE this product. SNOOZERS are a dog's and owner's best friend.Original review:My cocker spaniel,Ben, is ten years old and beginning to show signs of arthritis in his hips. For instance, his leaps onto our high bed are not always successful; and Ben appears frustrated with his inevitable aging and weakening. To prevent his arthritis from exacerbating, I wanted to purchase high quality,safe doggie steps. This large Snoozer scalloped pet ramp matched my requirements. Ben, who weighs approximately 40 pounds, took a few days to master the doggie ramp. Using encouragement and praise, I boosted Ben's confidence; and his ability to climb the steps. However, Ben's success was truly due to the ramp's unique scalloped formation and durable foam filling. The scallops and the firm foam provide a strong "foothold" for Benny's paws and remove the steep incline normally associated with steps or stairs. After three days of practice, Ben has learned to quickly walk up the ramp and take a tiny jump onto the bed. Although it took Ben three days to climb the ramp, it took five days to master his descent. He was more hesitant about coming down, then going up. However, as the days pass, he has learned to trust the Snoozer's steadiness and appreciates the Snoozer's soft surface. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my Snoozer product. Although the ramp is lightweight and easy to move, it remains in place and does NOT slide on our carpet. GREAT PURCHASE !!
