So I am a dog groomer. I groom like 7 dogs a day. They definitely uphold it but the curves scare me because it cut my knuckle when I put them away and they were closed, like a cheese grater. Love the straights and chunkers but scared the straights will cut a dog when they are closed. I think they should be a little cheaper that how much a paid for them.They cut as expected which isn't very good but they're quiet and smooth. I'm a professional groomer and I used then for the first time yesterday, brand new and it takes some pressure to get them to cut. Just be careful if you're clipping around sensitive parts because they could easily snap down and hit something sensitiveHonestly for the price these shears are a crazy steal! I got them pretty much for the chunkers as backups while I send mine out. But now I use the curves more than my regular ones. And the curves are not swivel but they are reversible so you can flip them. 10/10 would recommendMy wife is small so her thumb slips too far into the articulated finger ring making it difficult to use. I am an average size man and find it comfortable to use.I had to have these sharpened because they come so very full that they don’t cut anything. They also make squeaking noises like the bolts are rusty. No matter how much shear oil I use the sound continues.Love these scissors, however, they came dull.Awesome shears for the moneyI really love the scissors, they are very nice to grip and they are super sharpExcellent value for money. I’m very happy with my purchase, scissors are elegant and very sharp. Very good beginner kit.
