I have a dining room area that I wanted blocked off from pets, but finding a gate wide enough was proving challenging. I got this and it does the job! It is high enough to keep them out and wide enough to span the entire area!Installation was a bit of a challenge, as I was doing it on my own. With a helper, it would probably not be bad. I had a couple issues, though. The gate side hardware is too wide to fit on a single wall stud, so one half has to use anchors. The included ones did not work quite right with the included screws, so the screws just wouldn't go in any further after a certain point and didn't form a tight fit with the gate. This has me a little worried that it will put too much strain on the other side and eventually break, so I will have to get different wall anchors to use for that side or rig up some other solution. The latch side was much easier to install, because it is tall and thin and can fit along a single wall stud. Getting it lined up with the gate by myself was a challenge, but I managed.Rolling the gate back up without it bunching up or going off center is a bit difficult, but if you hold it by the mid point at the end and keep an eye on lining it up as you go, it's not too bad.Overall, it's a very nice solution for places where you need a very wide gate. For the price, I wish more of the hardware was metal instead of plastic, but it's not bad considering a gate less than a third the size will probably cost about a third the price.
