I bought this because I have several of the Snoozer Overstuffed Luxury Sofa beds for my dogs; they are superior quality and last a very long time, my dogs love them. I needed something to put in a crate; Snoozer was my first choice because of my experience with the sofa beds. This crate pad is a huge disappointment. It's very thin and very lumpy and the cover is loose and flimsy; the dog's nails are going to rip through this in no time. I waited a long time for it because they initially sent the wrong item and I had to wait for approval to send the wrong one back without a fee; it's finally here, but I wish it wasn't...Purchased in advance of puppies (2) being spayed. Wanted them to be comfortable but knew that accidents happen. Didn't want to spend money on crate cushions, only to throw out.These have been wonderful.First off, the covers. Snoozer, please invest in a machine that serges the edges as it stitches. Your covers will look more professional. The pattern, zipper, fabric are good. Execution needs work. I purchased, in part, because I am one of those idiots that hates to buy overseas goods when American made is a few bucks more. I spend the extra and look at it as Karma.The covers were going to have to be laundered daily. Rather than purchase extra covers from Snoozer, I used existing pillow case covers (zippered) to cover the pad and a second slide-on cotton case. This will not work but for the small pad. Ordered more covers from Amazon, just to have extras ready.The pad has a rough side and a smooth side. Remember to make sure that the smooth side is up towards the dog when installing in the case. When an accident occurred, easy enough to remove the covers, spray down in the tub and let dry. Time back to kennel was about an hour.Worth every dime I paid!
