Vacuuming is a solid 5 stars. This works so much better than the iLife robo-vac I had been previously using. It's more consistent in it's vacuuming pattern, rather than the random zigzags I found with the iLife, so more floor space gets cleaned. Additionally, this one is smarter and can be trusted not to hurl itself down the stairs, and manages to get itself unstuck a lot better, too. If by chance it does get stuck, I get notified on the app so that I know to go fix it. Overall, I am always amazing by how much dust & hair it collects. Opening the dustbin is both thrilling and gross.Mopping is more like 2.5 stars. You need to use the vacuum at least 3 times before you can begin to use the mopping feature (it needs to learn the lay of the land, so to speak). After 3 full vacuums, you'll be able to see the map of your house in the app so that you can block off areas to mop. Be forewarned that the maps look nothing like the display pics--much more rudimentary, but surprisingly accurate. The mop pad does not fully cover the bottom, and there are 2 small areas of plastic exposed (roughly penny sized). I feel like these left streaks on my hardwood floors, or some sort of mark. I don't think you would have that issue on tile. It could also just be my floors. They are nearly 5 years old, and prone to showing everything....I think I over-washed the protective coating off. Oops. Anyway, I find my floors look streaky and not particularly clean. It may very well just be an issue particular to me and my floors...I have a lot of mopping complaints, generally.Bottom line, I'm not necessarily sold on the mopping aspect, but the vacuum is aces. I like the app, too. I would definitely buy this again, or at least the vacuum only model.
