We got this to mount at the top of our deck to control the dog. Being carful to follow the installation instructions we got this set up perfectly. Mounted between the brick wall and top corner banister. We we're able to tighten this up enough to withstand the weight of the dogs paws. If he was thrashing and pushing he might be able to break it down, but he has respected it quite well.Stays outside in the elements and still works great after a year.We took it down carefully, keeping the door securely shut and properly restricted, and took it on vacation.
