I never use a soft crate for crate training. I use a wire crate for crate training. They are puppies and puppies chew and dig. This is not for a dog who has separation anxiety either. I use this kind of crate to go to dog agility trials where I will always be close by and my dog is already crate trained and has learned to relax in a crate and nap while I'm gone.They are easy to set up, take down (once I figured out how to extend and retract the top side bars that support the roof) and easily pack in my car. Well made material. I love the "sunroof". It's easy to get my dog out and put her back in (she usually hops back in). I can store my leash and other things in the pockets. I keep a water bowl outside the crate just in case it gets knocked over or bumped into, so I really don't need the "water hole". It takes a long time for a soft sided crate to dry (speaking from experience here). I love that it comes with a carrying case with a shoulder strap and shorter carrying straps. PLUS it comes with a thin crate pad!! How cool is that! I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my younger dog.
