I've read the other reviews and I have some tips. This is day 2 of owning this wedge. Some say it's hard to sleep on. Some say it's high. Some say it's too firm. The pictures are deceiving. As it LOOKS like it's hard. Here's what I say. It's very large. (I bought the XL) It comes just below my butt from my head. I'm 5'9 and big ( I'm Andrea's fiancee). I thought from the pictures this was going to be a hard foam wedge. It's firm but soft. Like a couch cushion. Plush and it gives. The memory foam is a super bonus for comfort. The cover is so nice. It's super quality. Everything is so nice. Well worth the money. Some people say it's hard to sleep on. Here's an easy fix. Prop a few pillows under your legs. It feels like your flat while you're reclined. Use a low loft pillow. Like the Malouf Z zoned pillow. They have a low loft that stopped my neck pain. I have 5 slipped discs in my spine. 3 in lumbar. 2 in neck. I had zero pain when I woke up. I'm waiting on surgery. Plus I have acid reflux. And sleep apnea. No issues last night. I woke up a few times as it's the first night. I've tried the NuWedge and many others. There is NOTHING like this wedge. It supports me all the way the my low back! It's so damn comfortable! I'm raving about it. I don't slide down and if you do use the pillows like I suggested under your legs. You're not going to find anything more comfortable than this. It honestly doesn't feel high because of the gradual slope. I returned the NuWedge because it felt high and hard. And it was only 7 inches of incline and has gel memory foam. But with the 1.5 density of polyurethane foam it's so comfy. Try it. Try the tips. Love this wedge.
