This gate ticks all of the boxes: Very tall, sturdy, vertical bars so pets and children can’t climb, easy swing gate that goes both ways, option for permanent installation (drill into walls & use included hardware) or temporary tension-mounting (I did this one), and adjustable to customize it to the width and height you desire.I found the installation to be a little confusing, but honestly that one’s on me. Once you become familiar with all of the parts it’s actually very simple. If you feel overwhelmed reading the written instructions there is a QR code with an install video. Also, if you accidentally snip off the cable tie with the warning label BEFORE you’re supposed to, don’t panic, it’ll still assemble properly. My husband got a little scissor-happy when opening the package, and I kicked him off the project and installed it myself. The little tightening tool is kind of cool and works well.I bought this to help the slow re-introduction of two sparring cats and it’s already made a huge difference and brought the household anxiety way down. This gate is doing everything I hoped it would and is easily my favorite purchase of the year! Highly recommend!
