Updated review Aug 19. 2015: I still love this cage and think it was a great deal. My lovebirds have a lot of fun playing in and on it. When I first got them they were babies and the trip from the top to the bottom seemed like a perilous adventure (which was really cute!), but now they have gotten used to climbing, jumping around, and sliding down the bars. The platforms and ramps are super easy to remove, and the tray and bottom grate just slide right out, making the cage very easy to clean. In the image you can see the cage, the play gym I built around it, and a large storage bin and their carrier fit underneath easily. Sometimes I work from home in the room they are in, so have the whole thing on casters is great because I can easily wheel the cage into a bedroom so the birds don't take over my phone calls.Very minor issues: one of the platforms is a little warped, but they don't notice so I don't mind. One of the side doors can come off a little too easy, but I don't use them anyway and it could be easily fixed with some pliers. These are so minor I won't even take away a star for them.I will be buying another one of these in the future when I expand my flock! I've seen al out the exact same cage (but in burgundy and with different dishes and no ramps or platforms) for about $250 at a local bird store. I support my local stores, but this price is amazing in comparison.Original review: Jul 1, 2015: I just received my cage last night, and I won't have birds to put into it until next week. Maybe I'll do an updated review in a few months. But so far the cage is great. It was very easy to put together despite slightly confusing instructions. All you need is the provided screws and allen wrench. One wire was slightly bent on one of the side panels and another on top, but that was easily fixed and not a big deal. The one thing I would make sure people know is that if you order the "white vein" color, it's actually a speckled grey. Doesn't look nearly as white as in the picture. I'm actually quite happy with the color, but if you want a stark white, just be aware that you might not get it.A few people have complained that it's not wrought iron. The bars are actually wire like you find on most cages for small birds. I assumed this going in so I got what I expected. The frame, though, is wrought iron. It's a great, spacious cage for small birds at a very good price.
