The backbone of the Deadeye Custom family is the SCT technology improving strength and durability. SCT is a dual helix wrap featuring over 6000 strands of carbon thread wrapped around the 30/40-ton graphite blank. The component system of the Deadeye Custom series starts with Sea Guide XO-316 stainless steel angled guide frames to reduce line twist as well as a specialized stainless steel guide tip to prevent inserts from popping out. The rods feature a custom EVA and Cork split grip configuration for balance and weight reduction for all day jigging.
