This vacuum is short enough to mostly fit under all of my furniture. He has trouble getting under my couch from the rug, because the rug ends right before the couch and if he's trying to go straight under the couch, the front part drops down and the back part goes up and this is just enough to get him stuck. I did notice the first time I ran it in my living room that the protective vinyl on top got pretty scratched up, so this says that the drive train power is really good.I haven't figured out how to 'drive' him around with the remote yet, but the smart clean seems to work well enough. I kind of wish it wouldn't forget the room when it stops cleaning, but it usually gets everything acceptably anyway. The suction part is actually quiet enough that my cats don't mind it much. My deaf cat thinks he got a new toy though. I'm not sure how to tell the idiot that it is MY toy not his.Anyhow, I'm very pleased with this purchase and it is helping keep the hairballs and dust bunnies down. :)
