I will admit I didn't have super high expectations on these. They were cute, but lately it has been a struggle to find any heeled items that didn't murder my feet. I was pleasantly surprised to find out these were actually pretty comfortable right out of the box. I wore them through a workday and was blister free. I had read reviews on other shoes by this company and the overwhelming theme seemed to be to size up. I followed that even though this was a different style and I am glad did. I'm a solid 8.5 in 95% of my shoes, but this is one of the times going up a half size to a 9 worked perfectly. The toe box is roomy enough I can wiggle my toes without having them crushed which is nice. There is a bit of room in the heel, but it hasn't rubbed and because of the design my ankle doesn't slip out when I walk. I admittedly, have a wide ball to my foot that isn't big enough for wide width, but sometimes is squeezed in standard sizes. With this it was just comfortable and as I wore them they seemed to shape to my feet. There is some good ridges on the bottom of the shoe so you have a bit of traction when you are on slick surfaces. I couldn't tell what the pattern was online. I thought it was fall leaves or some sort of abstract, but it turns out it is antiqued roses and foliage. Unless you were really examining them you probably wouldn't pick it out, but it reminds me of a cool antique victorian aged wallpaper with the crackling effect. Very cute shoes and I have had several compliments already. I feel like full price they are a little expensive for the quality level, but then the designs are unique so its kind of a trade to have something more on the unique side. I really like the look so I have no problem keeping them and would probably buy more from this brand if the price is right.
